Administrative Services Building Remodel

Ames, Iowa

In its effort to combine its administrative functions scattered across several buildings, the Ames Community School District decided to reuse and update an older elementary school.

This was a major refit for the building, providing up to date electrical, lighting, networking, accessibility and finishes throughout.

Listening to neighborhood concerns, two kindergarten classrooms were designed to remain in the building. One major focus of the design was to keep the integrity of the original classrooms while meeting all the new space functions.
