Increasing the space of an existing home is not simply about adding on, but working to create an extension of the home. This two story addition includes a new bathroom, additional bedrooms, den, exterior porch and rear entrance. The kitchen was enlarged to accommodate a breakfast nook and seating area.

Two bedrooms fulfil the current needs of the children living at home and provide a place for them to return in the coming years.

Custom matching of original millwork, hardware, windows, and clapboard siding was achieved through extensive research and attention to the home’s unique detail. The end result is a larger home with an enhanced, yet original character.
